The real Nordmann fir is the most popular Christmas tree, for a simple reason: its soft needles don’t prickle and last four to five weeks in a heated home. Its deep green colour and even shape hold from the first day of the festive season to the last. We select it from a certified organic Belgian family grower: three generations on the same land, about a hundred kilometres from Brussels.

The Nordmann fir and Vert Sapin, a story that lasts
Our Nordmann comes from a certified organic grower in Belgium, a family that has been growing Christmas trees for three generations. Planted young, it grows in their fields at its own pace; once it is cut, its place is replanted the following spring. After the holidays, it is not waste: in Brussels, it is collected in January and turned into compost.
The Nordmann fir (Abies nordmanniana) lasts 4 to 5 weeks in a heated room. It is the Christmas tree that holds its needles best: set up in early December, it stays beautiful throughout the holidays.
Are Nordmann fir needles prickly?
No. Its needles are soft and rounded: you can decorate it bare-handed, and it suits homes with young children or pets.
Does a Nordmann fir smell nice?
Its scent is soft and subtle. For a real forest smell in the room, the Norway spruce is more fragrant.
Can a Nordmann fir hold heavy decorations?
Yes. Its firm, well-tiered branches hold glass baubles and garlands without bending.
Which stand should I choose for this tree?
