To have a Christmas tree delivered to your home in Belgium, order it online and choose the day and a time slot of 3 hours in the basket. At Vert Sapin, delivery is free in Brussels and the surrounding area and costs €9.90 elsewhere in Belgium. It runs 7 days a week, from 20 November to 24 December, and the tree arrives netted.
How does home delivery of a Christmas tree work?
- You order. Choose the species and the size: a Nordmann fir or a Norway spruce, from 125 cm to 4 m. Add the wooden cross stand if you do not have a stand: the tree is delivered without one.
- You choose the time slot. In the basket, you set the day and a time slot of 3 hours, at the earliest 24 hours after ordering.
- We select and prepare the tree. We choose a tree of the size you ordered and wrap it tightly in netting.
- You receive it netted. Held tight in its netting, it gets through the door, the hallway and the stairs without breaking branches or scattering needles.
- You set it up. Keep the netting on for a few hours, fix the cross stand or the stand, then cut the netting from the bottom. The details are in our guide setting up your Christmas tree.
Areas, rates and frequently asked questions are all on our Delivery page.
How much does Christmas tree delivery cost?
It is free in Brussels and the surrounding area. Elsewhere in Belgium, it costs €9.90. The same rate applies to the whole basket: the baubles, garlands and toppers ordered with the tree arrive in the same delivery.
Which day should you have it delivered?
The day depends on the species. A Nordmann fir lasts 4 to 5 weeks in a heated room: have it delivered from 27 November. A Norway spruce lasts 2 to 3 weeks: aim for 11 December or later. For Christmas, order by 23 December at the latest. The full calendar is in when to buy your Christmas tree.
Where do you deliver in Brussels?
In all 19 municipalities of the Region, from Ixelles to Schaerbeek by way of Uccle. Each municipality has its own page.
It is in the city that delivery helps the most. Without a car, a two-metre tree cannot be transported. In a flat, it still has to be carried up the stairs.
Why have it delivered rather than buy it on the spot?
Delivery removes the three steps that weigh you down: the trip, the transport by car and carrying the tree to your door. It costs nothing in freshness. We select our trees from a Belgian family grower, about a hundred kilometres from Brussels: the tree travels quickly from the field to your living room.
Would you rather choose the tree yourself? Our Brussels stalls are open from 27 November to 24 December. The two options are compared in buying a Christmas tree in Belgium.
Can you have the tree set up in your home?
Yes, on quote. Delivery stops at your door; our home service, on the other hand, sets up the tree, decorates it and picks it up after the holidays. This pick-up after the holidays is part of the service on quote: it is not offered for a tree ordered on the website.
A tree ordered on the website goes to the collection. In Brussels, Bruxelles-Propreté collects about 100 tonnes of trees every January, on garden waste day, with no pot or decorations; the wooden cross stand can stay on.
